Corporate Member

(two designated representatives) - $740 / RMB4,900¹
(three designated representatives) - $840 / RMB5,600¹
(four designated representatives) - $920 / RMB6,100¹
(five designated representatives) - $990 / RMB6,600¹

For legally-established entities in China. Designated representatives of corporate members receive all AmCham South China benefits and services, including participation in the AmCham South China Business Visa Referral Program². The designated representative of each U.S. corporation holds voting rights and is eligible to run for position on the AmCham South China Board of Governors. Each U.S. corporation is entitled to one vote. Designated representatives of non-U.S. companies do not hold voting rights and are not eligible for elected service on the Board of Governors.

Non-resident Corporate Member

For companies without legally-established representation in China. Designated representatives of non-resident corporate members receive all AmCham South China benefits and services except participation in the Business Visa Referral Program². Designated representatives of non-resident corporate members do not hold voting rights and are not eligible for elected service on the Board of Governors.

Friends of the Chamber

For Chinese companies and organizations that are not otherwise eligible for participation in AmCham South China activities and projects. This is a category of participation, not of membership. This category now incorporates former 'Allied Associations,' delineated as industrial or trade associations legally established in China and undertaking activities consistent with the objectives of AmCham South China.

Individual Member

$470 / RMB3,100¹

For individual U.S. citizens interested in the trade relationship between the United States and China. Individual members receive all AmCham South China benefits and services except entry into the Business Visa Referral Program², hold voting rights, and are eligible for elected service on the Board of Governors.

Individual Associate

$470 / RMB3,100¹

For non-U.S. citizens interested otherwise qualified for individual membership. Individual associates can not participate in the Business Visa Referral Program², do not hold voting rights and are not eligible for elected service on the Board of Governors.

Non-resident Individual Member

$320 / RMB2,100¹

For individuals otherwise qualified for individual membership but not legally resident in China.

¹ Including a one-time joining fee of $165/RMB1,100 to cover administrative and processing fees. Membership becomes effective upon receipt of membership dues, and is valid for 12 calendar months from that day. Membership fees are not refundable.

² Participation in the Business Visa Referral Program is available to corporate members who have been in good standing for more than one year, and is subject to application review by AmCham and the U.S. Consulate.
